    Birch, I think that Hosujan's point is for the most part correct. The market is the way it is. Invariably it favours bigger players over smaller players. And at times a range of factors can contribute to a share price move that may not seem fair and warranted.

    That being said, ARU has fallen for a number of reasons, not directly related to shorting and in no particular order:

    Firstly, no new offtakes.
    Second, not locking up financing.
    Third, falling rare earth prices.
    Fourth, poor macroeconomic conditions.
    Fifth, ECE exiting.
    Finally, significant spend on early works.

    All of these things have contributed to our drop from 70c.
    So to the original point is this thread, is the spp at a point where there is value for shareholders. It really seems to depend if you can trust management to lock this up and start mine development.

    I'm still undecided if I'll participate, having picked up more in the 20's on the way down and in the last SPP bringing up my average price. I actually think the best value may be in buying an equivalent number of the new options on market once they start trading.

    Either way, hoping for a better 2024 for ARU and smaller resource stocks in general.
