lilac, you are wrong. MEL is with computershare and it has been fine to pay the last day every time i've done it. you cannot pay the last day with Security Transfer Registrars, but it is fine with computershare and link. i bank with anz.
best to call your bank and confirm, and don't take this as advice blah blah but i've had not problems paying the last day with computershare.
ML173, where do you get your information from that you think it will be a full subscription? the company tells me they don't expect it to be fully subscribed.
