2 ways to go about this.

SPP is flying so you reward shareholders with a SPP but announce the record date so that only current shareholders actually get it. ie it is too late to buy.


or

Offer a forward dated SPP record date (like what FAS have done) BUT!!!!!! give full details of the SPP so there is no uncertainty about pro-ratas and the like. Is it going to be pro-rata? Is it going to be, if you are a shareholder, apply for as many as you like?

No such info has been given. If you had to jostle for shares under a pro-rata situation, the SP would have remained where it was, if not moved higher.

I just sometimes question the logic of this management.
Are they incompetent or did they want the SP to come back.
