spp - potential for early close

I paid my SPP money today. In the past I have seen companies close their SPP early when they can see they will be heavily over-subscribed. The administrative hassle of managing lots of scale backs is greater than simply turning off the BPay Facility, and returning late cheques without banking them. The way it would work is via an ASX Announcement advising an early close to the SPP. They have flagged very clearly in the SPP terms that it may close early. For the sake of a few days interest I paid early because the SPP is so far in the money I don't want to risk missing out.
