Guess what management couldn't give a damn if you do or don't chip in a few k, they already have the cash to drill they are just providing holders the opportunity to participate and get the same deal. Quite frankly options at 6c is a pretty good deal, but like you said nothing is set in stone and if a little volatility scares you either sell and move on or bottom drawer the stock.
