How much for the SPP is anyones guess?
They could go down the path of setting the SPP based on the last weeks average traded price before the offer closes less a 10% to 15% discount. There are a number of reasons that make me feel this could be a possibility?
1. The Capital raising is for $5-$6 M, why the range? Suggests the SPP may be an unknown amount.
2. Once the SPP is out, it eliminates funding as an issue. There are many that have this as their major concern. May see improvement in SP.
3. Stirling have a lot of things to notify the market about right now. They have been delayed in favour of getting the SPP out and resolving the funding issue. When these are released once again could be good improvement in SP.
4. The little announcement yesterday regarding Trading Policy, suggested to me they are making sure all there management and execs are well aware of the rules regarding purchasing shares when privy to inside information, the fact that it was announced suggest to me that there is news we don't know about and a subtle reminder to their team and possibly others such as Novus.
5. This would have the effect of significantly less dilution, which we all want.
The more I think about it, if they don't take this approach then they have been advised poorly by Novus, No brainer from my perspective.
All speculation, DYOR.
PS. Drop the Overkill thread, doesn't help perception.
