I do not hold this stock but SPPs generally have been widely criticised. Often only good if accompanied by an entilement offer, as REH did.
I can't see upside for QAN in the near or even much in medium term. It's burning heaps of cash every week, and while it has new debt facilities by encumbering more of its aircraft, that won't last for ever either.
The SPP is on volume weighted average price for five days, less a 2.5 per cent discount but this to me is insufficient to make it attractive.
So if you don't mind being diluted, don't subscribe to the SPP (that in any case may be scaled back as has occurred with others such as NAB).
