Did you see where the Qantas price had been prior to the announcement - nearly $5 (on June 10) - when all the states were announcing lifting restrictions/borders opening etc.
What they announced was fair and reasonable given where the share price was in the days leading up to the announcement. It was $4.19 when the trading halt occurred. So a 10% reduction thereabouts.
When Nab had its capital raise on 27/4 its share price was $15.76 at the trading halt and it raised at $14. So a 10% reduction thereabouts.
I hold both stocks and am a long term investor. Qantas may have short term pain however it will be stronger coming out of this in my personal opinion.
