In the past I have Bpaid on the closing day and been accepted.

I think if management need the dough they'll look at their bank account on the day after (or +2) and see the transaction time as < 1700 Adelaide, and process (calculation if oversubscribed, determine cutback, allocate shares and process refunds). It happens over the few days after offer close.

My experience; no guarantee it plays out like this every (or this) time.
