You and me both, Jack, but suspect we've got Buckleys!
Matt, thanks for your reply. I guess the only thing I can say is that all assumptions are not born equal.
Some people like to assume the worst because it justifies their stance. Others assume the very best for the same reason. In the middle are those who make assumptions based on a critical, objective analysis of the facts as we know them. At the end of the day this is all we can do. I'm assuming it's something you and I have both done to a certain extent in making the decision we have to invest a truckload. I suspect it's also what Mark Firestone, Mary Kate Wold, John Lund, William Galle, Richard Wieland and Christopher Naftzger, not to mention the other executive and technical management have done when choosing to progress their careers with Unilife.
So yes, I hear what you're saying, and to a certain extent agree, but we cannot possibly know everything about what any given company is doing at any given time, especially when it comes to them telling us how commercial-in-confidence and potentially company-making negotiations are progressing.
In this repect, Unilife's track record over the past five years, and what they ARE telling us in their updates, gives me enough confidence to assume they will continue to
hit the milestones, and deliver the results as promised.
At which point I will race you to be the first on HotCopper to offer my congratulations for a job well done ! :)
Good luck.
