That is funny. Because I have spoken to JH myself not so long ago, and he told me that he couldn't tell me as to how the SPP was going due to some insider trading rules.
Then, the second part that I fail to agree with, is that I can't see as to how the Company will hold off for the closure of the SPP until Friday when JH has stated on several occasions that the 25th of Junuary current is the definite closing date. If the SPP will be extended till Friday as you wrote, an Announcement should have been made. I am sure that some clearances will take place, but IMO the SPP will be closed at 5.00 PM on the 25th.
For the ones that want to buy their SPP entitlement, my advice is to send your money in asap, before you miss out altogether.
