Anyone who sells now in hopes of getting them back in the SPP is likely to get burnt.
According to the annual report, there are 7731 registered holders.
Maximum $3M dollars worth. That equates to 200 $15k parcels, or 300 $10k parcels, 600 $5k parcels, 1000 $3k parcels, or 3000 $1k parcels.
If we assume say 20% of holders (butt pluck) apply for a parcel based on the spread of holders in the report, we get
20% of the 2359 holders of 100,001 or more applying for the 15k parcel = $7,077,000
20% of the 3910 holding 10k - 100k shares apply for the $10k = $7,820,000
20% of the 549 holding 5-10k apply for the $5k = $549,000
20% of the 482 holding 1-5k apply for the $3k = $289,200
20% of the 431 holding less than 1000 go for the $1k = $86,200
Total is $15.8M, or over 5 times the allocation. The best you might get is $3000 worth.
I think the way this capital raising will work is to hold all the applicants cash for a week or two and rake in the interest. If just 20% of all holders applied for $15k, that would be holding over $23M. 7% for 2 weeks is $62k worth.
