an extension wouldn't be a bad idea as kdr would have limited shares left to affect the price if they continued to sell.
however I don't think they can shift the closing date. From what I can find on doctor google, 3 days prior to the close seems to be the last date an extension can apply.
This seems to be dependent on the type of offer , so happy for someone to correct me.
