Down markets are stockpickers markets. A few good ann's and great prospects will see NMS become a favourite with stockpickers who will not touch anything but the most promising of stocks.
Strangely enough it is possible with the right anns' coming out that NMS may do better in a down market than in an up market as money becomes concentrated in a few stocks and funds look for those stocks which will lift their performance.
