Australia has just shown it's colours regarding lignite burning by announcing one ( of 2 proposed ) 550 megawatt gas fired power stations .

Less power will be generated in the Valley and this will push the LV operators into commercially viable alternatives or plant closures.

They can choose from...underground coal gasification, white energy briquettes, igcc, idgcc, tight gas or coldry.

They can't afford to sit on the fence crying poor and survive..they must choose and choose soon, or before you know it, Bass strait gas will be the fuel of choice for power generation in Victoria.

It depends on whether you are diluted or not as to how it effects you..

If you do not increase your holdings,,,you will be diluted.

As long as the IP is secured, the spp is successful...

And, as this is ineed the case,,,the spp is successful.

Underwriting of $1 mil secured IP, ( per anns ) but how much more than 1 mil has been underwritten ?

If underwriters have pledged say a coupla mil....that only leaves 1.5 mil for retail spp subscribers ( or 300 punters @$5k ).

So.....will the owners of around 8% of the registered holdings apply ?

I'd say only 5% of the register read h/c.
