Should the word ''not'' in the heading read ''now'' ?
People should understand that gas is a peaking alternative only.. ( not to be confused with Coldry's Peking alternative ) due to the expense per kw hr of gas generation...It is multiples of the cost a coal fired kW hr..
It's also not a long term alternative due to supply ( lack of certainty )
