Counting on the SPP you will pay 2c for a share that is available for 1.7c now, maybe 1.6c. That values the options at .2c. The question is"what will options be worth".
If nothing much changes you are just as well off buying now or getting better leverage by waiting and buying options.
It all depends on what happens between now and then. The "then" being the day the applications for the SPP closes.
If there is good news in that time then any shares bought now are worth more and will be a profitable buy and you are sure of having them.
