The underwriting is seperate to the SPP. as you are aware ESI raised over $1m several weeks ago just prior to the EGM (ASX announcement). That amount was enough to secure the IP. I cant speak on behalf of ALL Underwriting participants but the ones I have spoken to have all handed over their money.
Ofcourse the SPP is important for ESI but given that they have already raised over $1m. As you know the SPP was originally announced 3 months ago...so how urgent is it really???
If it is delayed another week or two, I dont think it really matters.
The above is just my opinion only...others might share a different view.
