"Usually when a company announces an SPP at a good discount there is the predictable parcels of $500 rushing through prior to ex date, SP then drops significantly as holders sell to fund SPP and falls further post SPP as stag-hunters (usu who bought $500 parcels) take profit, with SP often falling below SPP price."
