    yes I remember it, I also consider it somewhat stupid to write a potential fuel source off merely citing 1930's technology and design as the only reason. However lets run with that argument and assume that petrol and lpg are much safer and there is no way to safely make hydrogen portable (ie for cars ) how about it cheaply fueling power stations? the economic benefit would be huge not only would industry costs be lower but domestic disposable income.

    I can see where you are coming from regarding solar and wind power especially due to unreliability, however there is always going to be constant supply of sewerag. Surely even in your books that would have to make such an idea worth entertaining.
