Totally agree that the stock market is a very dubious place. Simple reason being that there are large pools of money available for people to play games with, that have nothing to do with the raison d'etre and true worth of a company. Parasites (in the strict sense of the word) feed off these pools of gold, enabled by shorting going hand in hand with rapid fire algorithmic trading, all justified by the peddled 'myth' that it creates necessary liquidity.
All this could be easily fixed but not a snowflakes chance in hell of that occurring - too many powerful interests that are making too much coin.
That being said, with prudent risk/reward choices and longer term holding there are always the gems for the retail holder to discover early and ride through the bullsh!t. Fundamentals are the key.
Neuren is one such gem.
