Hate to burst your bubble DB since it is great work and I love the enthusiasm, but it won't make much difference because Australia, like most nations around the world have a rigged political system which guarantees 1 of 2 options. It is a uniparty at the end of the day. Each party differs slightly on some issues to make it look like they are different, but they both have the same focus on continuing the existing system. The fact each of them do not want to cut immigration to levels we require is proof of this. Because immigration is fueling their desires with how the economy is going. Different wings of the same bird. These politicians, related enterprises and mates in the elite space are all profiting with the way the financial system works (especially how the ASX has been established). For example, the ASX is constructed so the institutions will always have a head start on retail.
Both LNP and LAB will always implement policies which benefit themselves at the end of the day. For example, the climate obsession in recent years and the crazy amount invested in the renewables space to ensure the green tech companies made record profits. The public is slowly waking up to this with the way the economic burden has increased in recent years, with high energy costs, even when they promised they would decrease with coal fire plant closures. There is still a long way to wake up the rest of the public. Heck, the green vote still 13% and the teals (green funded elites disguised as centrists) are also still faring well. Many of these pensioners you are trying to engage with are glued to the 6pm news every night, so sadly they will never wake up. The group I see waking up the most are males in the 30-50 age bracket. They have had a bit of life experience and are old enough to see how the world has transpired in recent years. Especially with how the Covid, Ukraine, Global warming narratives have shifted and the way both sides of the political spectrum have been involved. Once you see it, you cannot unsee it.
