I'm a member of a Senior Citizens group which has 330k members.And there is a lot of anger about the increases in power costs we have to pay in NSW.
The following is my post.:Sorry about the small print.

What gets me, ,is the lack of forward planning and management of the whole business of carbon reduction leading to closure of legacy power generating units and increased gas and electricity prices.I have shares in an Australian company, Eden Innovations,which developed a cement mix reducing the amount of concrete needed for any purpose using carbon nanotubes and a method of converting diesel to a 30% mix of diesel and green hydrogen[70%] called 'Hythane' The products are being used increasingly overseas[Holcim is adopting the concrete product and is beginning to use it extensively]. Yet here in Australia hardly anybody is using it at the moment. If they did, there would be a significant reduction in CO2 emissions.This would have allowed an offset for keeping coal powered generation of electricity for longer, until renewables were able to take over the generation task completely.Thus avoiding these unjustified power increases we're having to cop.

The more we spread the word the more people will hear about EDE and then we may get some action on increasing uptake. If it becomes a talking point in the forum,it'll give me an opportunity to elaborate a bit.
