    Yes, lettuce is great. Mr Spudnick and I have some cos lettuce in, and the rocket is doing really well. Our cauliflowers seem to forming, but one of our cabbages is going to seed, not sure of the problem there. We may plant some radishes soon.

    Capsicum and cucumber are so easy to grow. Must put them in for summer. No luck with our tomatoes, I think we have a soil bourne disease that kills them off every year.

    Our magpies are starting to come and get food for the new brood on the way. Our resident wattlebird came to the back door yesterday for his first spring feed. All is good.

    Today and tomorrow in Melb set to be lovely, 23 the temp for today, and I think 25 for tomorrow. I am going to get some sunshine to try and get rid of this horrid head cold.
