I'm not in anyway negative on MBE per se. I completely buy into mobile payments.
I guess I just don't understand the benefits that their announcement brings. My questions are:
1. What does it take to "enable" on a new carrier? 2. Do they have to undergo a certification? 3. What are the barriers to entry? 4. How do they make money off this announcement?
I don't doubt the size of Sprint.
The reason why I'm negative, compared to say MNW's BNZA announcement, is that MBE are "enabled" on Sprint. Sprint aren't re-selling anything. This would be akin to say MNW gaining certification on Bendigo's system BUT I know MNW would have to have jump through a large number of hurdles to achieve it.
Most of the above is more my lack of understanding on MBE's business.
