Valid comments by Fid on reference period. I'd would also point out the definition of day trading to Wallstreet and many retails are miles apart.
True day trading is dozens of transactions a day in only the most liquid stocks. Fundamentals are meaningless and they don't want to carry risk, even overnight.
DEG is very illiquid and I see it as most people taking a position in range trading. High liquidity cash or low liquidity DEG. Risk to this strategy is large steps up or down in the trading range. Was I in or out of it.
