This is the problem here for many retailers. They will see Split It as cannibalising existing credit card sales whereby they get the money next day. Now they either have to enter a factoring arrangement to get their money upfront or get paid in instalments.

At least APT & Z1P are driving repeat business and new customers into their store or online store.

There’s a reason why their top 2 merchants are minnows and in 6 years they haven’t been able to land a big fish

Interesting take and although I'm a holder and love the business model it is my #1 concern. The only solution, if you can call it that, is IF a big biz decides to turn it on then their competitors "might" have to follow suit, whether they like it or not.
