That is the benefit....your bank or issuers do not need to know about it. And the agreement with Visa is nothing to do with Banks/issuers.
Any Visa, MC, UnionPay etc card already work at any merchant GLOBALLY regardless of who the issuer (bank) is.
Each issuer does not have an agreement/partnership with Splitit. Absolutely clueless.

No wonder they would have been confused and not understood. The story was coming from another person who also does not understand. Sounds like it would have been an amazing conversation.

Also it probably is not real wise to assume that 1 low level peanut on the other end of the phone line speaks on behalf of the entire Bank.
It is just not important or relevant to them now at peanut level.

How does ANZ knowing about it even matter? It works with or without their knowledge. What else is there they need to know?
