HaHa! I think we are at cross purposes. I was referring to the fact that the carriers are semi submersible not the rig, ie: they partially sink themselves to allow the rigs to float onto them then eject the ballast and the the carrier rises to its sailing height with the rig on board . The Blue Marlin is certainly capable of carrying a semi sub rig however, but the Forte I think, being smaller, is more appropriate for the lighter Jack ups. Cheers.
