The last time I used a broker was back in the 90’s. They never told me anything more than I could read in the business section of the paper. And typically towing the party line in terms of whatever outfit they were part of and what they were trying to sell. With the information available these days, any literate / numerate individual with a bit of nous can tell you as much if not more than most brokers.
