A couple of points @McHale:
- According to that article it was Alex Hewlett that had been coveting PW for 18 months prior to the purchase agreement not Paul Adams.
- As far as i’m aware Alex Hewlett wasn’t in the employ of DJC.
- At the time of the acquisition VMC were a cash-strapped junior trying to complete exploration and due-diligence on the very large Youanmi tenement package.
- We don’t know when the Vendors (Patina & Co) decided to put the project up for sale.
- We don’t know if the vendors were willing to entertain other potential suitors.
- We don’t know if it was in fact Alex Hewlett that brought the PW deal to the table and not DJC.
