Of course it is a good outcome for CHN, they parked some cash on SPX and have a great return. But I wonder if the long term plans included something more, a cornerstone investment, maybe into what looks like an exceptional producing gold mine.
Maybe the dealing is not done yet - the price RMS is offering does not inspire me, SPX would have been way past that if the VMS fiasco had not intervened.
Say CHN made a better offer, and RMS countered - we might end up getting a much better deal or a gold mine with 100 g/t.
Anyway, let's see what happens, some consolidations in Victoria (after the Land Grabs are finished) might be a much better option.
