All indications are the World demand for fossilfuels has many a decade to run!
Can our Govt's model the science first &foremost with realistic expectations & leave the politics behind - take abipartisan scientific & economic review & provide a roadmap forAustralia's & export recipients that based on realistic demand:supply !? I don't expect Australia can ignore our export customers - some greater focus on energy reservation for domestic use should have been adopted decades ago I expect!?
Is Govt. ignorance(political pampering to pressuregroups) that has seen Squadron committing funds to this import terminal???
Surely the fact that Squadron is building animport terminal would prompt all Govt's to model future options & get aheadof the game as Sqadron appears to be doing!?
Do our GAS directors think the a crisis is pending& Govt's will be forced to support gas development & thereforepositioning themselves as Squadron appears to be doing! Had Govt's been rational & scientific in their energy demand: supply projections, would Squadron have found this crack and taken this initiative?
The current investment in fossil developmentappears to be falling behind the future demand, fossil fuel development isanti-social - yet from my reading the World is going to need a lot more fossil fuels beforerenewables can comfortably substitute them. Failure to satisfy fossil fuel demand will likely be very costly!?
Looks like something is going to crack ( not sure how close we are to this point) - willGAS benefit?, indications are our Directors likely think this may be the case!?
Or am I mistaken?
