Well I'm in Singapore. The last thing I want is some yocal local CDI thing but I get that if you are in Australia you might want to take that especially if it helps avoid CGT. I will be electing to take mine in square ordinary stock which I already hold in the same account and in a tax free location which also saves me having to pay FX fees to get my money out of AUD.
Interestingly - as it happens both holdings (SQ and APT) at the acquisition stated transaction price are up 500%. Although the rate of return is higher with APT as my holding period was shorter.
