If one looks at the one month chart's volume indicator it looks to me that the covering began in earnest on Tuesday 3 July, then 4 July, paused yesterday, and ended the week very nicely.
Spare a thought, but not a prayer, for those who are short. They're up against a world energy trend, one of the biggest producers of the commodity fuelling that trend, with a, thanks to the shorts, suppressed sp. No one buying now is late to the party... yet.
