OK now that the bitch’n is over thought we might post on something more relevant.
If TSV decide to go ahead with the squeeze job they will be able to achieve water free gas production rates up to 4.5mmcfpd from zones 3 to 6. How likely is the success of a squeeze job? Will it be a conventional squeeze job or something more advanced? Will this need to be performed each drill? How costly would it be? Thought I would throw these questions out to those who may know.
One site talks about Cement Pulsation (advanced technique) on over 550 wells with a success rate of 95%
In my research I’m finding mixed views on the success of squeeze jobs however nothing about costs.
To recap where we are at (from my understanding):
Zones 1 and 2 – too much water Zones 3 to 5 – if water contained below contains net pay of 95m Zone 6 – was successfully plugged contains net pay of 20m Zone 7 & 8 – bonus zones discovered to be fracced contains net pay of 68m
Looking at the above snapshot we're bloody lucky they came across zones 7 & 8!
Cheers,
Arkie
