    confirmed as reported a month or so ago...i would say none of these hospitals would have the old incinerators...they would want to open having some sort of system atleast for clinical waste...we're seriously going to have to ramp up...a capital raising is on the cards for sure imho

    June 24, Colombo: Sri Lanka Ministry of Health says doctors will be appointed from next month to 77 hospitals that were closed due to the shortage of doctors.

    Earlier reports said that 97 hospitals were closed due to lack of doctors but 20 of them have been already given doctors.

    Among the closed hospitals, 46 are situated in the North Central Province and 19 are in the Northern and Eastern Provinces.

    Ministry of Health sources say that the government hospitals also have a shortage of nurses.
