I am a new investor to SRV but I like their plans going forward. They are unlikely to be profitable this year and maybe even next year and I think that is probably weighing the share price down in the short term. There might also be some concerns about the scale of their future ambitions given that they are taking on more risk than they have in the past.
Personally I don't really view it as a change in strategy. I just think that an opportunity has presented itself and they are backing themselves to take advantage. There is undoubtedly greater risk but with that there is of course greater potential rewards. Perhaps some investors have exited because they liked the conservative approach of the past which would be fair enough.
The Moufarrige's have shown themselves to be adept at timing the market cycle in the past and I am backing them to do the same in future. Patience is needed but in my opinion there is a good chance that this company will reward investors with at least a 3 year time horizon.
