Now imagine for a minute that the Sn price was USD 28,000/tonne and the AUD/USD exchange rate was 0.80 i.e. AUD tin price AUD 35,000 per tonne. This would add (24,000 tonnes*AUD 6,429) = AUD 154 million to the value of the Project, so that it's pre tax NPV becomes AUD 154 million plus original AUD 83 million = AUD 237 million. Not bad for a company capitalised at AUD 22 million! Note that the above calcs are approx only and don't take into account extra higher royalty payments, processing costs etc due to higher metal value - they do however provide a useful guide. Note also that the tin price is currently well above the AUD 35,000 used in my calcs above.
