if one thinks about the AFR rumors when WMC was under threat, those rumors actually turned out to be correct, just that morgan wrecked it for traders at the time. The wmc share price got sold of at times only to bounce back strongly.
I believe the AFR rumors in so far as takeover offer price for MIM etc, are probably pretty close to the mark and the stock price is off a lot now due to takeover fever having dissappeared. Its probably only a matter of time before this fever sentiment returns and the stock could easily find itself up 10-15 cents from here.
You would have to admit that downside from here is a lot less now and upside looks excellent, if of course an offer eventuates. Its hard to buy on a day like today though!
