A stock broker these days cannot just simply introduce a new investment to you without a statement of advice unless you are a sophisticated investor. If the broker dare to insist to ask you to invest, they have breached the AFSL licence. Unless the broker is your family friend and having a chat next to barbecue stand, and holding a beer.
