Maybe to your displeasure, human's have a habit to categorise, classify, label people according to their attributes, behaviour etc. It doesn't necessarily equate to inequalities, in some case it simply a way of distinguishing or acknowledge the differences.

I your above example you still have labelled a group of humans, because of their attributes even thou they have gained equality.

but make it illegal for another, you immediately have inequality.

I think you have a misconception about the legality part of the debate; its about the right to use certain words that is associated with heterosexual 'LOVE' such as marriage, wedding etc.

Surely, the SS community can come up with alternative words to describe their legal union? One of their traits is being creative!

A large percentage of the community have a preference to legally and legislatively distance themselves from the SS community.

A sensible govt would acknowledge the the wishes of the majority instead of a minority group.

They have lots of 'new' words Radicool. You will have to learn them soon guys, wouldn't want to offend anyone would we? They don't want a new word for marriage, their aim is to destroy its current meaning. They have already kidnapped and perverted the words gay and rainbow and marriage is the next one on their list. Arrogance and disrespect at it's best. Have a good look through the website link below and tell me it will end with the ssm vote.
