Watching media reporting on the same sex marriage plebiscite situation it is quite apparent that some quarters , ABC in particular, are pushing the concept that there will be a vicious campaign of hate waged in the no camp. They are not asking us if this will be the case they are creating the impression that it IS the case. I wonder how did Ireland fare when they went through this process? any feedback from those with Irish contacts?

Cant have caused much of a ripple among the voters 'cause only 60 % bothered to vote. Maybe they should have closed the pubs for a few hours on voting day.
