I had to laugh at the you-tube posted wherein a male lion was trying to hump another male lion, after the female rejected him. However, he kept an eye on the female and suddenly gave up on the male and went straight back to her......yeh, even the animals are aware that SSM is very short term if the alternative becomes available........ The poster didn't want that observation made as it was posted by a YESer but I found it very funny indeed.
Moral of the story: If you at first do not succeed, try, try, try, again. Don't accept an inferior sad substitute because it is very smelly.
