When people mention on here that they are converting their options now, people say why convert them now when they expire dec 2012? If you have the cash now to convert them then why not do it now? Does it really matter when you do it? It will cost $7500 to convert 500,000 options whether you do it now or in 12 months time right? Also, if you are planning on converting them, isn't it best to do it as soon as possible since the CGT starts all over again once the options are converted?
