This is an investor presentation from late 2019. It's informative as St. Baker announces that the company has had the PureGraphite products qualified by two manufacturers. They are in contract negotiations and any ramp up will be financed by future contracts. It is a little frustrating that they still haven't announced such a contract despite being qualified by two major battery builders. I understand this stuff takes time and hopefully something will give soon. At the 27 min mark, while answering questions, St. Baker confirms that NVX will not be selling to Tesla or VW. He states these companies buy batteries not battery materials.

We know Tesla is eyeing going 100% vertical and in doing so expressed plans to build batteries. However, with the recent $100 Million investment by Panasonic, that appears unlikely in the immediate future. Tesla is more likely going to build on the partnership with Panasonic instead of Tesla actually sourcing product and physically building batteries from A-Z. Maybe I'm wrong on this. Who knows what the landscape will look like in 5 years.

Anyway, even though this presentation is about a year old (not sure of the actual date), it should put to rest any thoughts that NVX will be mentioned at BD.
