St George cuts two-year fixed mortgage rate
June 2, 2010 - 1:11PM
St George Bank is to cut its two-year fixed mortgage rate by 0.4 per cent to 7.14 per cent per annum.
The wholly Westpac Banking Corp-owned St George said the change would be effective from June 4.
St George Bank chief executive Greg Bartlett said the rate decrease would be welcome news for home loan customers looking to lock in a competitive, fixed rate home loan.
