Most of the big open pits like KCGM and Tropican average 2 grams per tonne . An average of 5 is way up there !
For every haul truck making the trip to the top they carry roughly 260 tonnes of ore , at 2 grams per tonne that is roughly 500 grams or approx 16 ounce but that is in a perfect world . A lot of overburden is carried up that contains zip
