The Day my Bum went Psycho.

I stated that my Squirm indicator went off on Tuesday. (A polite word for crapping ones self and possibly a potentially good buy indicator.)

Please be warned that this indicator is still in the lab for extensive and exhaustive testing. But unlike Redbackers readership increase on significant lows indicator, it's difficult to back test.

As I said before, last May, the indicator had also signalled an urgent buy (I urgently crapped myself), but instead of following my arse's guidance, I foolishly sold immense amounts of RIO at $63 and SDL at 13c which were painstakingly acquired by nibbling at lows for several months prior.

We all know what happened then.. but for me it was repeated banging head on wall repeating - 'My bum is a leader, emotions are OUT'.

So, Tuesday I started buying with what remains of the house. When I got weak I heard someones's sig saying 'The news is in the price'.

By Tuesday afternoon, she had dropped a little further and I was beginning to doubt the potential of the device...until I associated it with the...

    I DON'T WANNA KNOW INDICATOR.

On Tuesday afternoon (after the urgent crap episode where the cat ran out of the house and killed a pigeon - immediately!). I went to follow my daily ritual of checking my Westpac share portfolio table. The one normally showing little green numbers and the odd red one.

It's a quick visual representation of how much smarter than everyone else you are.

    I didn't go there. I didn't dare enter. Didn't even log on. I Don't Wanna Know...

Maybe this is what Robb has really been saying when he has stated many, many times - 'I don't care if the market goes up or down' - he's got a table full of red.

So, it's on the table. We will soon find out if my seat is senile or my Psycho bum will make us all rich, RICH I tell you!!
