A Polak a Pom and an Irishman had to cross a 10 km. wide desert,

and were allowed to take one item with them, to keep themselves cool.

The Polak decided to take an umbrella, which he would use to shade himself

from the hot sun.

The Pom decided to take a battery operated fan, that he could use to cool himself off.

The Irishman said he would take a car door with him.

When asked how that would keep him cool, he replied,

"Well, I'll just wind down the window".
